The best £5 I ever spent
The best ....... I ever spentNow, I have always liked coffee. I cut my teeth on typical "freeze-dried Tasters Choice" (thanks Jules), and progressed to cafetiere coffee, which is handy, as the Swedish ilk seem to love the proper stuff too.
In a typical work place/school you will find a coffee/tea vending machine, which is a living lie, as it does not actualy sell coffee, it sells something that poorly simulates coffee.
So what to do? I want the proper stuff away from home, without having to carry a mug AND a cafetiere around with me. Then one day I saw this in a cookware shop in Sailsbury, Wiltshire, UK:
Basically it is a thermally insulated mug with a built in cafetiere plunger, so you can charge it with coffee, go to work, add water (and anything else you desire) to give you that perfect cup of coffee. Whatever next? Coffee bags (like tea bags, but with.. er.. coffee in)?
That is All.
