I am so confused when it comes to how the whole Swedish For Immigrants (SFI) thing is structured. Anyway it seems I might have passed 'C'. Please don't ask me what this means, but I am now on 'D'.... I think.

On my return home this afternoon an A4 envelope with my name on it was waiting for me from the local council. Back home, this is never good, so I opened it with a little trepidation. Inside was a “betyg” which is a certificate, saying that for 'C', I got a 'G'. Now, I think that is a pass, but I am not totally sure...

So maybe I have a cause for celebration, but this is the first time I have earned an academic certificate without even knowing it.
